| Dominic LearyDirector - Head of Private Equity Dominic is involved in sourcing, assessing and managing new investment opportunities for Hastings Private Equity. Dominic is a director of Acme Fine Furniture, Shorko Australia and G&S Engineering and was previously a director of Natra. Dominic brings an international strategy and management perspective to the team through eight years experience with Cargill Inc in the US and Europe and The LEK Partnership in Australia and NZ. Dominic has also spent six years in mergers and acquisitions, working with Salomon Smith Barney and NM Rothschild in the UK. | David DawsonDirector David is involved in sourcing, assessing, managing, and exiting investment opportunities for Hastings Private Equity. David is a director of two current investments: Auscap Closures and Shorko Australia. David commenced employment with Hastings in June 2004, bringing additional private equity and international investment banking experience to the team. Prior to joining Hastings, David worked with ANZ Private Equity, where he established its Melbourne office and oversaw investments in five companies. David also spent six years with NM Rothschild and Sons corporate finance teams in London, Sydney and Melbourne, advising on a wide range of mergers, acquisitions, disposals and equity raisings. David graduated from Southampton University (UK) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Statistics, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. | Matthew BaxterDirector Matthew is involved in sourcing, assessing and managing new investment opportunities for Hastings Private Equity. Matthew is presently a director of Auscap, Aegis and NQR and has previously been a director of Craigcare and Natra. Matthew brings operating experience to the team, having spent three years managing a family-owned industrial services business in South Australia, which he sold prior to joining Hastings. Prior to running the family business, Matthew spent five years working for UBS Warburg in Melbourne and Hong Kong. Matthew holds a Masters of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School. Matthew has a strong interest in Australian mid-market corporates. In particular, he enjoys working with business owners and management teams to plan, fund and achieve their ambitions in business. | Alvin TehDirector Alvin is involved in sourcing, assessing and managing new investment opportunities for Hastings Private Equity. Alvin is a director of three of the current investments: Integrated Packaging, Acme Fine Furniture and G&S Engineering Services. Alvin's financial expertise, developed during the three years he worked in Hastings' infrastructure business and two years in Corporate Finance for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, has allowed us to create flexible, low-cost capital structures that best match the needs of management and institutional shareholders. Alvin graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. | Steven SpiteriAssociate Steven is involved in assessing and executing new investments. Steven joined Hastings in February 2005, after gaining four years experience with the Corporate Finance division of KPMG. Whilst with KPMG, Steven focused on M&A and equity market transactions and had exposure to a diverse range of industries and transactions. Steven's experience complements the Private Equity team and will assist the team to assess potential investment opportunities. | Yorke BanyardAnalyst Yorke is involved in assessing and executing new investments. Yorke joined Hastings in January 2007 and prior to that spent five years at ANZ where he was an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Corporate Bank. More recently, Yorke spent six months with the Private Equity division at ANZ where he gained exposure to various transactions across a number of industries.
